Tonight is the beginning of always; a promise from God. This night is your reward for persisting through life for so long in this darkness alone.
It is a gentle assurance of a belief in one another, and the reminder of what forever means. It is the decision to ignore, more, to simply rise above the darkness and pains of your past and embrace the light of an eternity. A gift is given; a covenant which at once binds two souls, and yet severs all prior ties. It is a celebration of the opportunity to take on the challenges that lie ahead, hand in hand.
For two will always be stronger than one – a team braced against the tempest civil world.
This night and every second hence is a mere formality. Tender smiles and eyes filled with promises made long ago, before the age of remembering; past all understanding. For the heart knows reason which reason does not know.
This truth is absolute. Even if all other truths are hard, and cold, and more cruelly painful than any lie; you must remember. Remember that this is real; sacred hearts beat as one, at its best.
This is love. A love that cannot be denied, or questioned, or turned away. We must seek it out until our hearts fail us, and our feet fall from our bodies and turned to dust.
Do not let this ember of the hope of happiness grow cold; the breath of God can only do so much.
For it will die, spark, by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all. Never let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it does exist.
Seek it out unto impending doom if necessary. Do all you are able to be the best that you are able. Have the most faith in God, give all of your soul to charity and kindness, and love more than anyone has ever loved before.
This you must never forget.
